At The Qatar Donation, we believe in showcasing the tangible impact of your generous contributions. Over the years, we have successfully partnered with various organizations and provided direct support to individuals in need. Here are a few examples of the lives we’ve touched through our donations:
In 2018, we partnered with Al-Shaheen, a Jordan-based construction company dedicated to providing sustainable housing solutions for Syrian refugees. With a generous donation from our partners, we funded the construction of 200 housing units for families displaced by the Syrian conflict. These homes offered not just shelter but also access to clean water, sanitation, and community spaces, creating a safer and healthier environment for over 1,000 people. By collaborating with local organizations, we were able to ensure that these homes met the cultural and social needs of the refugee community, fostering a sense of belonging and hope for the future.
Fatima, a single mother of three from Yemen, lost her home during the ongoing civil war and struggled to provide for her children. In 2021, through our direct assistance program, we were able to offer Fatima financial aid to rebuild her life. With the funds she received, Fatima was able to secure safe housing for her family and start a small tailoring business. Today, her business is thriving, and she has become an active member of her community, empowering other women who have faced similar challenges. Fatima’s story is one of resilience, and through your donations, we helped her regain stability and independence.
Ahmed, a young man from Sudan, faced life-threatening conditions when he was diagnosed with a critical heart condition. His family could not afford the medical treatment he desperately needed. In 2022, through our medical relief fund, The Qatar Donation covered the costs of Ahmed’s surgery and post-operative care at a specialized hospital in Cairo, Egypt. After a successful surgery, Ahmed is now in good health and studying to become a doctor himself, inspired by the assistance he received. His story reflects the life-changing power of timely medical intervention and the generosity of our donors.
